Nicest Prison Ever

I guess prison doesn't have to be all that bad. There is a prison in Norway that is more like a vacation island. The prisoners are allowed walk freely through the one square mile island and enjoy tennis courts, horse back riding, and of course the beautiful beaches on the island. Each prisoner is given their own little cottage to live on and are allowed to choose from many different meals from the chefs menu. The only thing stopping them from escaping is a one and a half mile canal, but why escape? Some people might think that prison is made for punishment, not fun and vacation like this, but the Norwegians are going a different rout, instead of punishing for crimes, they are making it more of a rehabilitation, and it works. In other countries like the U.S. and the U.K., about half of the prisons that are released are back behind bars in a few years, while in Norway, only 15-20% are back behind bars after coming out of one of these types of prisons. So should murders and rapists be punished and have to suffer for what they did, or should they be rehabilitated? It is a controversial issue but data shows that it works better to rehabilitate.

North Korea Expanding it's Nuclear Program

That's right, North Korea has announced that it will expand it's nuclear program. An update from an unidentified North Korean official to the world announced that it is for self defense. When asked why they need this type of self defense they said it was because the U.S. is being hostile towards them and they just want nice peace. North Korea is trying to make nuclear weapons and they will be testing there third one soon. Do they have the technology to actually deliver one of these nukes if they do achieve there goal of making them. Seeing as how last month they did were not able to send there ballistic missile very far, I think not. Should the U.N. intervene? If they are able to get this technology on their own should they be able to do it?

Mr. Carrier

A school is graduating 25, that's twenty five, valedictorians in one graduating class. Many people are disagreeing with this, for instance, our own Mr. Carrier, "Grades should be a representations of what kids know, not simply effort" said Mr. Carrier. He is right, the kids need to be graded harder, and beaten when they don't pay attention. The teachers should be fired or be forced to grade harder. What do you think, should the kids get valedictorian recognition or not? Should teachers have to grade harder? I think so, and so does Mr. Carrier. That says something, if Carrier agrees then its right.

Kid who is gay goes to school with a stun gun

So then, a mom, that's a mother of a son, sent her son to school with a stun gun. How stupid can you get. Not only is it a weapon, but it is a concealed weapon. The boy was being bullied because he was gay and he said he would do it again even though he was expelled. Yeah he was getting bullied but that doesn't give him the right to bring a weapon to school. The administration should have done more to stop the bullying or this might not have happened. He was facing massive bullying and was tormented for months. He might or might not be expelled.

Bin Laden

After the SEAL team went in and killed Bin Laden they took pretty much all his important documents and letters for the CIA. Bin Laden never expected the U.S. to obtain these documents but now they are in the hands of the CIA and some of them have been declassified and made public. They consist of letters back and forth from country leaders that supported him, what he thought was going to happen and advice he was giving to them. He was also planning another very big attack on the US but obviously he is now dead so that wont be happening. What about these country leaders that were secretly on his side? What do we do about them? Forgive and forget, or launch some nukes? The choice is obvious, launch some nukes.....

Mexico is Winning

mexico drugs
Mexico winning the drug war?Yes it's true, Mexico is finally starting to win the drug war under the rule of President Felipe Calderon. Although 50,000 people have died since he started, it looks like it is worth it. The drug cartels used to bribe police and officials to stay out of their way, but not anymore. Felipe enlisted the military to take on the drug war instead of police that could be easily bribed. The military would of course win in all out gun fights as well so they didn't have a problem with that. The drug cartels were making around $10 billion in revenue every year and now that number has dropped in a very significant way. In the U.S. we have a policy that prohibits the military from being used against it's own citizens but we have the national guard. Is it right for Mexico to use their own military against these drug cartels? I think so.

Little Girl Kills Another Little Girl

It started out just like any other day for 5th grade Joanna Ramos, except today she got into a fight. She was in a planned fight that was to take place after her school day with a class mate of hers that went anonymous. She had around 15 minute window in between when her school day ended at 2:12 and when her after school activities started at 2:30. After school she left and then came back which is when the fight was supposed to happen. She died six hours later due to head-trauma. At first the other girl was going to be charged with homicide but then all charges were dropped.

Marshall Davis, The Issue at Hand.

Marshall Davis, he is not the real issue at hand. Marlon Manson is, he just denied parole, which pretty much means he wants to live the rest of his life in prison. It might be like in the Movie Law Abiding citizen where he has a whole scream set up to kill the justice system from within the confines of jail, he might have thought that he would not be able to fit in with the world today, he might have thought that people would hate him and there was no point in leaving, or he might have just liked the prison beds. Either way, he denied parole and he is still in prison, so it's all good in the hood. I then reread the article and realized, that he did not deny it, he was denied it.... and as we all know, whomever denied it, supplied it.

Bjorn Johnson Dead

Just last night Bjorn Johnson was found dead outside of his house in Sister Bay. After the autopsy police investigators found that the cause of death for Bjorn was as follows: Bjorn Johnson was stabbed 6 times in the back of the head; 1 time in the heart; 20 times in the belly; 5 times in the upper legs; his hands were gone from his body; and there were 3 snakes found in his skull. Some look at the ways in which he died as a random way of killing him, but others look at it in a different way. Specialist believe there is more behind this death than it may look like on the surface. After interviewing a few of Bjorn's High School friends (who wish to remain anonymous) police have found that the way Bjorn was killed was a message. They said Bjorn had a thing for taking extremely low budget, poor quality films, after further investigation they have found that this may very well be the reason for his death. After Bjorn took 2 EXTREMELY bad movies from some of his class mates in hope that they would never be watched again, some people became angry with Bjorn and took the whole thing too far. The 2 movies that had been taken were Snakes On a Train, which was in the hands of Andrew Peot when it was stolen by Bjorn, and Mannos Hands of Fate, which belonged to Jesse Payne. They are the top suspects of the case and they realized that this was indeed connected to the murder because of the snakes found in the body of Bjorn. Nicolas Cage was brought to decode the messages that the killer may have left on Bjorn's body, and of course, he found something. The amount of stab wounds in each area of Bjorn's body left a message, which when decoded spells F A T E. The means by which it was decoded so complex that only Nic Cage could understand them. At the time, Andrew Peot and Jesse Payne's whereabouts are completely unknown but Police suspect that they have taken the movies and plan to live out the rest of their days in hiding, watching the movies over and over again. Was it wrong for Bjorn to take the movies, although they did not belong to him, he was doing Door County a favor in hiding them away, he was willing to give his life to make sure they didn't get out, but it didn't work.

Farm House BURNS, was it a hate crime?

There has been a crime, a crime gone over looked, not just a crime, a hate crime. D.J. Sitte, a crazed maniac who enjoys watching the pain and suffering of others, used a power to incite the burning of a peaceful  farm housed owned by Austin Kissel and Asa Kastner. The powers he used were obtained in an unlawful way as well. All the people of the land should have voted on who should have the powers, and instead, D.J. stole them and wouldn't let the vote occur. The two farm owners, Austin and Asa, wanted to get away from the war torn city so they left to live a peaceful life in the country. They cleared a small piece of land and started building a nice farm house with chickens and pigs. As they were finishing the house, suddenly in the sky, the evil D.J. appeared, summoning up his minions and instructing them to fill the house with demons and to burn the house. Austin and Asa's house was burned to the ground and they were forced to return to the city of death where they would eventually go crazy and blow up the city with hundreds of blocks of TNT. D.J. got away completely unpunished and with even more power. D.J. needs to be stopped, he is doing this again and again to constant farm houses, kidnapping them and forcing them to fight in his army. Stop D.J., donate to D.J. 2012.
