The Government Can Now Legally do What Ever they Want

President Obama singed a new defense bill about 3-4 days ago. All those laws that only go into effect when the country is in danger and we are not in "Peacetime". Which pretty much means that we aren't being invaded or we are not in an actual war like World War 1 or 2. Anyways, this bill gives Obama the power to inflict Martial Law in peacetime. Which pretty much means he can now do what ever he wants, look up Martial Law and you will understand what I mean by that. One out of the many things it allows our government to do is let them seize practically anything they want from the people, including land, food, anything. Recently the government has been inspecting farms to see which ones would be good to take from... What exactly is going on, this bill in a nutshell made us not free anymore.

KONY, Icecreamkony, StreetKony

Kony is the newest meme, he is all over the internet now. The Invisible Children organization is getting exactly what they want now. Kony is famous on the internet and websites like "Funny Junk" and Damnlol" made it popular. So these websites are helping people and they have done something to benefit the world. So thanks Damnlol and Funny Junk! They seem like they have spread the word about Kony more than anyone. News and painting a city seems like it has done far less than all the jokes on the websites that have been posted. Are these jokes that are made bad though? I don't think so because they are spreading awareness about Kony. What do you think?

Ultimate Tazer Ball

Rugby just wasn't extreme enough, that's right now there's stun gun rugby. The rules are simple, put the big ball into the other teams goal...and avoid being electrocuted by other players trying to attack you with fully charged stun guns. The game is now a professional sport in Taiwan and is very popular there as well. THE GAME co-inventor Leif Kellenberger says that it equalizes the game because a small quick player could be just as effective as a big strong player, which lets smaller players play the game too. What do you think about the new sport? Is it a joke and shouldn't be a professional sport? Or should it be able to make it into the Olympics? I think its just as good as all the other sports and it should be in the Olympics.

The Dictator

For those of you who do not know, the movie "The Dictator" is a new movie coming out this year. It is a comedy about that has to do with all the recent downfalls of dictatorships around the world. In the movie, Sacha Baron Cohen plays the fictional dictator Admiral General Aladeen of a fictional country called The Republic of Wadiya. Some of the Arab community is taking offense to the whole thing even though it is just a joke. Almost every ethnic group and race has been made fun of in Hollywood movies and they don't seem to care that much. Is it taking it too far with this one? I don't think so.
